Prepare clean PNG assets before upload

Excess transparent padding can make your asset look oversized or poorly prepared. Trim the empty area and keep only the actual artwork.

How to use it

Select multiple PNG files and click Remove margins. The default keep-padding value is 0px. Use 2-5px only when the artwork feels too tight.

Download options

Each output keeps the original name with _no_margin added. Download files one by one or export all results as a ZIP.

Recommended settings

Most PNG assets work well with the defaults. Open advanced settings only if faint shadows, semi-transparent pixels, or flat background colors need finer control.

Keep padding
Extra space intentionally kept around the artwork. For upload-ready assets, 0px is usually best.
Transparency threshold
Controls which alpha values count as empty. Higher values trim faint transparent pixels more aggressively.
Background tolerance
Helps detect artwork on solid white, black, or single-color backgrounds. The default value 10 is recommended.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about trimming PNG margins before uploading design assets.

Are my PNG files uploaded to a server?

What padding value should I use?

For upload-ready PNG assets, 0px is recommended. If the edges feel too tight, keep 2-5px.

Does it support JPG?

This tool is optimized for PNG-style assets. For stickers and transparent design elements, PNG is the recommended format.
